With the aim of increasing the visibility of the Karst region’s attractions, culture, and experiences, the Municipality of Sežana introduced a tourist voucher this summer. The tourist vouchers are intended for guests staying in accommodation establishments within the Municipality of Sežana.

By introducing the tourist voucher, the Municipality of Sežana aims to provide visitors with an additional incentive to discover the Karst region more broadly, at a slower pace, and through more authentic experiences. The purpose of the scheme is to encourage guests to explore the entire municipality, invite them to visit lesser-known parts of the destination, and strengthen cooperation between accommodation providers, cultural institutions, attractions, and local experience providers.

The Sežana Botanical Garden is also participating in the tourist voucher scheme. Voucher holders can redeem a 30% discount on admission tickets at the garden. The offer is valid from 21 July to 31 December 2026.
